Alpiar Team
|
The Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati area offers a tremendously strong pool of talent. Tucked away on the borders of the east coast, midwest and deep south, the area is considerably more relaxed and quiet than New York, Nashville or Los Angeles, but with rich diversity, strong technology and world class music institutions such as the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (considered the Juilliard of Musical Theater) and the Tony Award winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park there is a strong and very talented music industry here.
After several years of working here and doing many recording sessions and music projects, I have assembled a team of people that are the very best at what they do, and work together to create your music, sound, audio and audio post production projects with creativity, excellence and integrity. Here is the core team:
- Christopher Kennedy Alpiar - Composer, Orchestrator, Arranger
Chris' more then 25 years as an studio instrumentalist, performer, arranger, and composer give him a depth and understanding of his craft that allows him to dive into your project and understand the emotion and the underlying message that your project or brand needs to enhance its public understanding and awareness
- Scot Woolley - Composer, Orchestrator, Vocal Director, Lyricist
Scot brings to the table a lifetime of musical theater achievement. He has worked on shows On Broadway as well as countless shows worldwide in his extensive and remarkable career. He is considered an icon of musical theater and his work is celebrated as the joy of music at its finest. Scot is our vocal arranger and director and he works with our studio voice talent to give your project the very best professional and intimate sound
- Ron Pease - Owner of Refraze Studios, Engineer, Producer
Ron Pease has been recording and producing sessions since he was a young rock guitarist in the 70's playing with many members of Deep Purple in Los Angeles. He has gotten more involved with production work over the years and is now the owner of Refraze Recording Studio in Kettering, Ohio where his studio is considered the largest tracking room in the midwest. Clients at his studio include national acts such as The Breeders, George Clinton, and Tim McGraw.
- Gary King - Engineer, Producer
Gary is one of Dayton's most well known studio engineers. He has several RIAA gold and platinum albums to his credit and has worked for over 20 years with Refraze as well as other Dayton area studios. He has many years of experience recording philharmonic orchestras and has worked with every major orchestra in the region. He is currently producing local pop band Mona and recording daily genres of music from country to jazz to hip hop and classical.
- Kevin Kellenberger - Assistant Orchestrator, Copyist
Kevin is a recent graduate of Capital University's music program. He is our in-house music copyist and orchestrator. He is the guy that makes all of the compositions cross over to the recording sessions with ease and accuracy
