 Testimonials
"Chris Alpiar's mastery of music, composition, instrumentation and technology is second to none. He is a "one stop" for anyone interested in music, whether you're a novice or professional and I couldn't recommend him more highly."
-- Scott Z. Adler, LA writer and producer, Author of Shapin' Up, a new Broadway comedy musical

"Excellent work! Love the choices of textures and sounds--very lush! And I don't know what you've done in your stereo mix, but it really has a nice sense of life! Doesn't sound hammered or overly processed, just comes beautifully out of the speakers--it doesn't feel at all like canned strings. I can't wait to hear the other stuff with it! Thanks for your work and the complete documentation--all that stuff helps! Once again, outstanding work!"
-- Tom Hall, engineer/mixer

 Chris' Notes
One of my closest friends and brothers of the saxophone has his new band Swampdweller and is making a very original sound. Headed up by insane Alto Saxophonist Marc Fendel, and filled with some of Seattle's top Jazz, Hip Hop, and Funk musicians this gig is changing the shape of modern instrumental music.

Classic and Swingin' Jazz in Naples! No, Naples Florida not Italy! Check out one of the most deserving masters of Jazz guitar Dan Heck and his sexy and sultry wife Rebecca. Together they lead a strong Jazz scene in central Florida that mixes beautifully the raw creative energy and intellect of classic jazz, with a modern sophistication and enjoyable entertainment. Tell em Mike the Boofer sent ya!

"My love of drums didn't come from my family it came on May Day in the first grade at Glaghorn School in North Philadelphia. The teacher gave me and a friend a snare drum to play around the May pole and ever since that snare drum I haven't been interested in anything else. In school I could never get in the band cause I couldn't read music, but I stayed after class and played with the band members."
